Built during the "gilded age" in 1909, the mansion Vanderbilt Hall was commissioned by Alfred Gwynne Vanderbilt for his glamorous mistress Agnes O'Brien Ruiz, the wife of the Cuban Attaché. Heavily influenced by the Beaux-Arts style, Vanderbilt Hall exhibits many outstanding classical details to its exterior.
Magnificent reception rooms are graced with interesting artworks. The intimate bar is chic and comfortable. Grand Chef Relais & Châteaux Jonathan Cartwright of New England’s White Barn Inn now overseas the dining experience, creating entirely new and inspired concepts.
